Or fling them high towards God's throne
Confess our gratitude for God's goodness
Despite bad attitudes and all this mess
That attempts to assail
It will not prevail
When we think upon whatever
Is good and lovely, pure
Dwell on Christ, He will assure
Us with strength and reasons to rejoice
In whatever comes our way; it's our choice
