Praying the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-16)

Grant me a spirit that is tender,
That grieves over my sin
Help me to be humble
To thirst for Your goodness within
Help me to be merciful,
To keep my heart, for You, pure,
To live at peace with others,
Persecution to endure
Help me to attract others
To Your Living Water
Help me shine Your glorious light
High above any others
